Comprising a mantel clock and a pair of three- light candelabra; the clock surmounted by a winged mermaid playing a horn, above the oval body, centered by a white enamel dial inscribed Howell James & Co / TO THE QUEEN / LONDON-PARIS. The twin-train movement striking on a bell, numbered 48/51 and inscribed ETIENNE MAXANT PATENTED PARIS, flanked to each side by a pierced scroll volute, on a square molded base, centered by a scallop-shell and coral, flanked to each side by winged hippocampus, on four feet; the candelabra en suite. Comprising of a lyre form clock and pair of figural four-light candelabra, the garland-hung clock surmounted by an Apollo mask and a pair of Phoenix heads, the circular enameled dial with Arabic chapters and twin-train movement, with bowed glazed bezel cover and ‘jeweled’ surround, inscribed ‘Le Faucheur/Her du Roi/Paris’, flanked on each side by a putto, on a molded base with beaded edge, scolling foliate frieze and turned feet, the candelabra en suite, with a putto supporting a leafy flowering branch of scrolling candle arms.
